Yeah I know the fonts don't match!

Wow its been over a month since I last updated this blog, and yet im still not sure what to write.... Spent a week in Lanzarote with a few friends which was good, plus it was really hot which is a bonus. Work wise just been helping Adam Ficek (Roses Kings Castles) with his tour preparations, going to be tour managing the UK part of it so just making sure the hotels are sorted as are sound check times and so on, it should be a really good tour so if you can make it to any of the dates please do, there all going to be full band and its great to see how things are developing for Adam as he put so much effort in to everything he does. His new album is going to be out at the start of next month so ill put a pre-order link at the bottom. Ok what else has happened in the world of Rob.... Done a couple of my own nights which has both been great, did the last a couple of nights ago with a friend of mine Alan Wass coming down to headline, if any of you hasn't heard any of his music check out a track called "Hired Gun" on his myspace, such a great tune.

Is it just me or is Xfactor a lot worse than normal this year, normally you can watch it and say yeah he/she is ok but this year there all really awful. As much as I hate it its quite entertaining but I wish they would do an original music one with people who can play instruments or have a band, then maybe they may have a better chance of a future, because to be fair this year there just a bunch of people who could just about qualify as backing singers, they haven't got anything else from what we have already seen which can further there career and its a shame they get put in front of millions of people every week when there are 100's of talented unsigned bands out there who could really do with the exposure, anyway rant over and dont get me started on Fearne Cotton, fuck she does my head in (not xfactor related but worth a mention)

So other than tour preparations just starting to set up for my next night which is going to be a xmas special, Ive got a great band from London headlining called Bleech and 4 other bands that mean alot to me so quite excited about that one.

Been thinking quite abit about moving to London as I spend so much time there it makes sense so maybe after this tour get my CV up together and start mailing it out to some labels and see what help and advice they can give me, doing everything of your own back is great but London doesn't come cheap! But if there is anyone who is reading this who wants to give me a job drop me a message.

So think thats all but if you want a new band to listen to check out "Doll and the Kicks" there brilliant, think next year will be there year.
